A great achievement on reaching the 50 year pinnacle. Congatulations and may the next 50 be equally as rewarding

December 9th 2010

Due to the inclement weather, and any constructive work being hard to achieve, it was decided that fishing therapy was definately the way to go.  An early meet at 2am at Charlies place, and off to St Kilda pier, on Port Phillip Bay to try our luck.                                                 Very pleasant setting off on the water, with the pre-dawn glo in the east (west according to Howie) and anchored just off Williamstown, looking at the spectacular Melbourne skyline.  The almost too helpful crew had the lines baited and set, and we waited in eager anticipation for the first bite of a "big red"  Before long Greg hooked up a very nice fish, and after a few minutes landed a 5kg snapper.   After a prolonged period of inactivity we shifted to another spot, and then on further out into the bay. George hooked the biggest fish of his life, and landed a nice 3kg red. I (Charlie) managed a small gummy shark, and that was it for the day. Any day fishing is better than working and we all arrived home with a small feed, and good fun memories

Young Dazza reached a milestone in his career, turning the big "50".Congatulations Dazza.

A gathering of Jenharwill staff helped Darryl celebrate the auspicious occasion. Susan made Daz a lovely birthday cake, which he cut with great decorum. I think everyone enjoyed the day!!

Darryl and Charlie attended the AFIA annual conference that was held in Adelaide at the convention centre. Over 250 delegates from around Australia attended the conference, with representatives from all sectors of the fodder industry present. A great trade display from the many sponsors gave everyone an insight into what is available, with new products for the coming season.

It was fantastic to meet up with old aquaintances from near and far, as well as meet with new faces. As always the networking opportunities are the highlight of the conference. It takes many hours to get around all the attendee's, so we end up very tired at the end of the week.

Congratulations to all involved in running a great show.

23rd JULY 2010

The Jenharwill team, at the invitation of Case IH Echuca, travelled to the Shepparton Golf Course to participate in the Case Tri-State challenge. A selecton of talented and not so talented golfers were divided into teams to contest an Ambrose Event.  Many thanks to Mr Harris, Darren and the staff who were involved to make such an enjoyable day.

Charlies team blitzed the field and won the event, and Meggsie, last years winner blitzed himself.

We look forward to next years event.

JULY 2010

The Jenharwill staff had a great day in the Toyota Box at the MCG, thanks to Paul DeAraugo of Bendigo Toyota (Where the WOW factor's high!). Fortunately for Barry, ably supported by Sue and Scott, his beloved (and much maligned) Tigers snatched victory in a very lacklustre game. St Kilda protoge' Jack Riewolt kicking 10 goals, gave the other supporters some interest in the game.
